SmartInterviews.AI collects and processes audio and video recordings of your interview when you choose to participate in an AI-powered or live interview session.
What We Collect
- Video recordings of your interview
- Audio recordings (microphone input)
- Screenshare recording (only if explicitly initiated and consented)
- Timestamps, technical metadata (frame rate, device type, resolution)
Why We Collect This Data
We use audio/video data solely for the following purposes:
- To evaluate your responses during the interview
- To generate automated insights, analytics, or summaries
- To provide playback to authorized interviewers or hiring teams
- To maintain interview quality and prevent misuse of the platform
Important:
We do not use your audio/video for training AI models without explicit, separate consent.

How Long We Store the Data
Interview audio/video data is retained for 30 days and is automatically deleted unless the employer extends storage with your consent.
